Some mountains you climb. This one, you meet. For more than a century, Mount Shasta has drawn seekers, mystics, and the simply curious — and this weekend, you'll experience it with some of the region's most respected guides.

Saturday begins on the mountain itself with Dan Horton of Shasta Vortex Adventures and Andrew Oser of Mount Shasta Retreats leading you to sacred-sites, vortex journeys to hidden springs, old-growth forest, and quiet meadows, weaving in guided meditation along the way. Together they'll lead the group to powerful spots few visitors ever find.

The weekend closes with a rare treat: a two-hour talk with William “Bill” Miesse, widely regarded as the world's foremost Mount Shasta scholar. Miesse traces the legend of Lemuria from its origins to the mountain we know today — the perfect lens for everything you've just experienced. Fittingly, he'll share his talk on the legends and lore of Castle Crags right in their shadow, unfolding the granite spires' own history and mystery on the very ground where it happened.
